When you buy a Blackberry, you get the phone, a charger, 1 disk, earphones and a sleeve as the standard contents of the box. The sleeve you can use to protect the screen and the backside from moisture and scratches. However it is just a sleeve. How I wish that it had a clip that you can attach to your belt. I usually put the phone inside the sleeve then inside my pocket. You need more to protect your Blackberry from scratches or pressure it gets from inside your pants especially for tight fits.
Our boss was kind enough to get us the clip on case. With this you can clip on your belt or on the outside of your pocket minimizing the damages. The clip rotates although I have not used it in positions other than at its vertical position some may find actual uses for it.
